To specify locations used by the Rapid Scan SCA engine for VS Code, use the Rapid Scan SCA → Configuration link that appears below “Code Sight > Config: Settings” on the Settings tab.

- JAVA_HOME
- Specifies the location of your local Java® installation.
- MAVEN
- Specifies the location of the executable for your locally installed Apache® Maven™ package manager.
- NPM
- Specifies the location of the executable for your locally installed npm® package manager.
The controls in this table are the same for each row:

Click Edit Configuration
to specify a path for this location.

Click Reset to Default to reset the path.
Some IDEs derive the JAVA_HOME value from the IDE configuration. For these environments, Reset to Default reverts to that value. Otherwise, it reverts to an empty path. The package manager settings always revert to an empty path.
