Generating Application Reports

You can generate various reports in PDF, CSV, and HTML formats depicting the current risk status of a chosen application.

Note: Generating reports in CSV or PDF format can fail to complete when the report is extremely large (e.g. tens of thousands of issues). If this happens, try reducing the number of errors in the report. If the issue persists, contact Black Duck Customer Support.

From an application's Summary page, click the Reports tab, and generate a customized report.

Table 1. Report Types. You can choose the following types of reports.
Report name	Description	Information
Application Risk report.	Provides an aggregated view of application risk reported by various Black Duck security analysis tools. Includes an Aggregated Risk Profile Score for the application.	Click + Create Application Summary Report. Follow the instructions in Creating a Customized Report.
Industry Recognized Priority Lists Report	Provides a distribution of issues identified in the OWASP Top 10, CWE/SANS Top 25 or PCI DSS.	Under Select Category, select a list. Click + Create Report. Follow the instructions in Creating a Customized Report.

Note:

Currently, the reports you can generate here include only Coverity issues. Should you need to generate reports from other Black Duck tools, such as Black Duck, MSP, or Seeker, use the standalone Coverity on Polaris Reporting Platform application. You can access it by choosing Reporting from the main menu in the Coverity on Polaris application.
