Migrate Jira Integration to Black Duck

With the transition from Synopsys to Black Duck, you will need to update your Jira integration to Black Duck.

Select the steps according to the version of the plugin you are currently using.

Newer Versions (higher than 1.0.72)

If you are using a Jira plugin higher than 1.0.72, you can update the configuration in Jira to point to your new Black Duck domain.

  1. Navigate to your Jira administration panel, then select Manage apps.

  2. Select Manage apps in the left navigation.
  3. Select the “Black Duck Polaris Platform” plugin.
  4. Select Configure.

  5. Update the Coverity on Polaris URL to your new Black Duck domain ("polaris.synopsys.com" to "cop.blackduck.com").
  6. Click Save.

Version 1.0.72 or earlier

If you are using version 1.0.72 or earlier should:

  1. Uninstall the old plugin in Jira.
    1. Navigate to your Jira administration panel, then select Manage apps.

    2. Select Manage apps in the left navigation.
    3. Select the “Polaris Software Integrity Platform” plugin, then Uninstall.

    4. A notice opens to indicate that the app was successfully uninstalled.
  2. Download the latest version of the plugin from the Downloads page on Coverity on Polaris.
  3. Install the new plugin and configure it to point to your new Black Duck domain. See Integrate Coverity on Polaris with Jira for your Organization.
