In Coverity on Polaris, an application is a collection of projects. The application view shows aggregated results for all the projects that belong to the application.

To see the aggregated results in a Coverity on Polaris application, you must be added as a member of that application by an organization administrator or application managers.

  1. From Coverity on Polaris, navigate to Applications.
  2. If you don't see the application immediately, use the search box at the upper-right corner to search for it by name.
  3. Review the summary in the application card.

    This example shows an application named "app-demo," with an Aggregate Risk Profile of 81. It contains 8 projects with a total of 597 open issues. Of those, 106 are classified as high severity, 225 medium severity, 216 low severity, and 50 as audit.

  4. To see the results by project, click on the name of the application, then select Projects in the header.

    This view shows the projects in the application, with a count of open issues and breakdowns by severity and issue type for each project's main-for-project branch. You can view other branches or more detailed project information only if you already have permission to view the project. An application where you are a member might contain projects that you don't have permission to view, except for the overview within the application.
