If something goes wrong with your SAML configuration, sign in using standard credentials.
If Coverity on Polaris cannot communicate with the identity provider, a warning will
appear on the sign-in screen for all users:
Any organization administrator can sign into Coverity on Polaris using an email and
password when SAML authentication fails. Here's how:
-
Click the link at the top right that says "Local Authentication."
-
Use the email and password associated with your Coverity on Polaris account to
sign in.
If you don't remember your password, you'll be able to reset it and then sign
in.
Note: If Coverity on Polaris is inaccessible and the error
message is not visible, you can reach the local authentication page by
appending the following query to the base URL of your Coverity on Polaris
instance:
<Polaris_Instance_Url>/signin?samlError=true
