Create a service account

How to create a service account in Black Duck Portal.

Note: Only Organization Admins can create service accounts.
  1. Go to Service Accounts.
  2. Select Create Service Account.
    The Create Service Account window opens.

  3. Enter a Name for the account.
  4. Enter a Description for the account.
  5. (Optional) Select the service account's Audience. Options include:

    Audience Description
    https://blackduck.com/kb/vuln Grant a third-party application access to the KB Vulnerability Feed via a service account and secured endpoints in Black Duck Portal.
    https://blackduck-portal/api
    Note: This audience is reserved for future use, and is not active at this time.
  6. Select Create.
